What is ExitSure?
ExitSure provides an online assessment tool that looks at your business the way a buyer would. By answering a structured set of questions about how the business runs, sells, and depends on you, ExitSure turns those answers into a score and a set of specific insights about where the business is and isn’t ready, and provides a prioritised plan for closing the gaps.
Who is it for?
Owner-operated businesses, typically with revenue between $250,000 and $50 million, where the founder is still closely involved in running things. You don’t need to be planning a sale. Most of what makes a business ready for a buyer also makes it stronger, more transferable, and less dependent on you right now.
How long does it take?
Most founders finish in around 15 minutes. There’s a short set of questions about your business first (industry, size, how far away an exit might be), then the assessment itself. Answer from your own knowledge - you won’t need to look anything up.
What do I get for free?
Your Founder Exit Index score and the band it falls into, your scores across the eight areas we assess, your top three insights in full - what we found, why it matters, and what you can do about it - and two of the business’s strengths. That’s a real read on where you stand, not a teaser.
What’s in the Pro Report?
Everything the free results give you, plus the complete picture: every insight the assessment surfaced, an executive summary written to your specific result, a full breakdown of each of the eight areas and the components inside them, your strengths, and a sequenced roadmap that tells you what to fix first, why it comes first, how to approach it, and what a good outcome looks like. How much does the Pro Report cost?
AU$199 as a one-time payment. There are no subscription fees.
Is this a valuation?
No. ExitSure doesn’t estimate what your business would sell for and shouldn’t be relied on for that purpose. It assesses how ready the business is for the scrutiny a buyer may apply - which is a different question, and usually the more useful one to answer first.
How accurate are the results?
The results are calculated entirely from your answers using a fixed, rules-based method, so the same inputs produce the same output. That means the results are only as reliable as the answers you provide. Answer as a candid outsider would see the business, rather than as you’d like it to be, and you’ll get the most value from the report.
What happens to my information?
Your answers and results are stored securely and used to provide our services, including generating your report. We don’t sell your personal information. Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Can I retake the assessment?
Yes. We recommend acting on your roadmap and retaking the assessment in six to twelve months to see how your business has progressed. Each new assessment’s Pro Report is a separate purchase.
